Audience Engagement Research - mid90s

The target audience for this film is young kids aspiring to find their passions and interests in this world. As the film follows a young boy who meets a group of older kids and begins to learn based on their skills in skateboarding, it is similar to our intro which also follows the development of skills in scootering. It tells the audience that every boundary can be broken with enough practice which enables the individual to succeed. A few marketing techniques they used were posters, multiple teaser trailers, websites and social media profiles such as Twitter and Facebook, and the movie's screening at New York Film Festival as well as named at the Toronto Film Festival. The majority of their media to expose their film seemed to be by integrating it into well-known festivals to attract a particular crowd. I would like to use their distribution in film festivals because it would attract people who genuinely would be interested in watching it rather than spending lots of money to distribute it in places where people might not even find interest.
